Job Summary
- Process supplier invoices and resolve related queries
- Reconcile petty cash, staff floats, and daily cash-ups
- Match F&B purchases to receiving documents and POs
- Assist in monthly payroll preparation and statutory submissions
- Reconcile accounts payable and ensure accuracy with the general ledger
- Process and follow up on debtors, collections, and reconciliations
- Prepare payroll journals and support month-end procedures
- Assist with stocktake and inventory control reconciliations
- Maintain organised and accurate financial records and support audit processes
- Collaborate with other departments to clarify financial transactions and reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar finance role within the hospitality industry
- Matric (Grade 12) required; relevant tertiary qualification in finance/accounting is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
- Experience with ACCPAC/SAGE300 and VIP Payroll essential
- Familiarity with hospitality PMS systems (e.g., OPERA) is highly beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving abilities
- Must have a valid RSA ID
