Minimum Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / IT Diploma Roles and Responsibilities: Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for manual testing of insurance applications Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and business processes Identify, record, document, and track defects in the application using appropriate tracking tools Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and ensure that existing functionalities are not affected Validate data according to insurance policies, plans, and regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure that the software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other quality assurance checkpoints Mentor and train junior testers, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to testing methodologies Continuously improve testing processes by identifying areas for enhancement and recommending solutions 01 Coordinate with automation testers to identify areas that can be automated and provide suitable test cases for automation Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of insurance applications by conducting various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing Monitor and report on the status of testing activities, providing regular updates to the project team and management Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing, especially within the insurance domain Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Software Testing Principles: Deep understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
