Job Summary
As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance and strategic execution of multiple retail locations. You’ll work closely with store teams to ensure compliance, boost sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Note: This role requires regular travel within your assigned region and occasional visits to Cape Town. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the operations of multiple retail stores
- Monitor store performance and implement improvement strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with head office teams including supply chain, HR, and finance
- Coach and develop store managers and their teams
- Conduct regular store visits and audits
- Assist in planning and executing regional sales strategies
? Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar retail management or area manager role
- Strong understanding of retail operations, compliance, and performance metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential)
- Willingness to travel regionally and to Cape Town as needed
- Confident, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong leadership skills
