What You’ll Do:
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models primarily focused on credit risk, customer segmentation, or fraud detection.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust analytical solutions.
- Conduct data exploration, feature engineering, and model tuning to optimize performance.
- Perform rigorous model validation using industry-standard metrics such as AUC, Gini, KS, and lift charts.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and communicate model insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support the implementation of models in production environments, ensuring stability and scalability.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in predictive modelling within financial services, insurance, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting machines, or other machine learning techniques.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and tools including:
- Python (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy) or R for model development
- SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- SAS knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with model validation techniques and statistical concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing feature engineering.
- Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and credit risk frameworks will be advantageous.
