Job Summary
Are you a qualified Millwright with a passion for hands-on technical work and innovative problem-solving? We are looking for a Plant Technician (Millwright) to join our client’s team in Port Elizabeth, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of their manufacturing plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
-
Build and maintain blasting machines.
-
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
-
Monitor plant efficiency and vital signs.
-
Support quality control, housekeeping, and project planning.
-
Daily inspections, preventative maintenance, and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
-
Millwright Trade Test (Section 13 or 28)
-
N3 Technical Certificate (Electrical or Mechanical)
-
3 years apprenticeship + 2 years post-qualification experience
-
Code 10 Drivers License (minimum)
-
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Ideal Qualifications
-
National Diploma or N6 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
-
PLC programming knowledge
-
Code 14 Drivers License & Wiremans License

Location: Port Elizabeth
Remuneration: R20 000 – R25 000 per month
