About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client in Durban is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong inventory control skills and a passion for process accuracy and efficiency within a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor inventory levels across all storage and production areas.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and support periodic stock take processes.
  • Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely updating of inventory systems (ERP).
  • Coordinate inventory movements including receiving, internal transfers, and dispatch.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehousing to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Compile and analyse inventory reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure inventory operations align with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Mathematics and Accounting preferred)
  • National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics (advantageous)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 23 years experience in an inventory coordination or stock control role
