A leading Brisbane-based forklift service provider is seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Mechanic to join their team. If you’re mechanically minded, eager to grow your skills, and ready to work in a dynamic workshop environment—this role could be your next step.

Location: Brisbane, Queensland
Salary: AUD $90,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience, excl. super)
Visa Sponsorship: 482 Visa sponsorship available for exceptional international candidates

About the Role:
This full-time position focuses on field service and preventative maintenance of a wide range of internal combustion and electric forklifts. You’ll receive hands-on training and support from experienced tradesmen and have the opportunity to grow your skills in a high-demand field.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine field service, preventative, and emergency maintenance
Interpret technical manuals and perform scheduled repairs
Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, electrical, LPG, diesel, and electronic systems
Replace or repair ignition components and worn parts
Perform safety inspections and sign off on repairs
Install electrical accessories and components
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Complete digital service logs and documentation

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar mechanical or electrical trade role
Automotive, electrical, or electromechanical trade qualification preferred
Forklift repair experience is desirable (but not essential)
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a drug screening
Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures
