Job Summary

What Youll Do: Design, build, and deploy application and behavioural scorecard models from scratch. Take full ownership of the modelling lifecycle concept, build, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with credit, compliance, business, and data stakeholders. Ensure alignment with IFRS 9, Basel, and internal governance requirements. Innovate with new techniques, alternative data, and modelling approaches. Be a thought leader influence how credit strategy is defined and executed. What Were Looking For: Proven hands-on experience building credit scorecards end-to-end. Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle, model governance, and business impact . Independent, confident, and ready to lead modelling initiatives. Innovative mindsetyou dont just follow the playbook, you improve it. Regulatory knowledge: IFRS 9, Basel, and governance frameworks. Proficiency in Python, SAS, R, or SQL . Minimum Requirements: 4 years experience in credit risk modelling or quantitative analytics. Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science , or a related field. Experience with large datasets and building production-grade models . Were looking for a Credit Risk Modeller to join our team and build scorecards that dont just tick boxesbut drive smarter, faster, and more profitable credit strategies . What Youll Be Doing: Build and implement application and behavioural scorecard models from the ground up . Take complete responsibility for the entire modelling process , from initial concept through to deployment. Partner with credit, compliance, data, and business stakeholders to ensure goals are aligned. Maintain adherence to IFRS 9, Basel standards, and internal governance , while ensuring flexibility and efficiency. Explore innovative techniques, alternative datasets, and advanced modelling methods to stay ahead of industry trends. Serve as a strategic influencer , shaping credit strategies and guiding key decision-making. What You Bring: Demonstrated experience in building credit scorecards end-to-end . Strong knowledge of the credit lifecycle, model governance practices, and regulatory requirements . A self-driven, independent approachconfident in leading initiatives and challenging conventions. Proficiency in Python, SAS, R, or SQL for model development and optimisation. Advantageous: machine learning expertise or experience with alternative data sources Minimum Requirements: At least 4 years experience in credit risk modelling or quantitative analytics . A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science , or a similar quantitative discipline.
