Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full administrative support to the Production Manager.
- Prepare, update, and maintain production schedules.
- Capture and process production data accurately.
- Monitor and update work-in-progress reports.
- Liaise with departments regarding materials, trims, and deliveries.
- Assist with issuing job cards, tracking orders, and maintaining production files.
- Coordinate communication between production, quality control, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure documentation (purchase orders, delivery notes, production reports) is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with preparing reports for management meetings.
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for production-related documentation.
- Handle general office duties such as correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
Requirements
- Minimum Matric / Grade 12
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment, preferably clothing or textiles.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Excel essential).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Remuneration
R13 000 – R15 000 CTC
