Mechanical Fitter Reporting to: Operations Seniority Level: Mid-Career (4 – 6 yrs exp) Type: Temp Duties & Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment. Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance. Perform fault diagnosis and corrective repairs. Align, test, and inspect mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate job cards, service reports, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards. Requirements: Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical Fitter – Red Seal). Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical fitting within the engineering or manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
