• LLB Degree (with good academic results).
• Admitted Attorney & Conveyancer.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience, working as a Conveyancer, specifically in the Residential Mortgage Bond environment.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
• Notary Public, a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full range of conveyancing matters, specifically in the residential Mortgage Bond environment.
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timelines.
• Maintain and update files accurately on LexisConvey/GhostConvey.
• Provide professional support and guidance to clients throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the Conveyancing department.

Competencies:

• Proficiency in E4, WebConvey, LexisConvey, Windeed and LexisSign.
• Ability to mentor and manage Paralegals.
• Excellent drafting, reviewing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage files independently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Knowledge of FICA.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organisational skills.
