Job Description
- Education
- High School Certificate (Matric) – essential.
- Hospitality or Front Office Management qualification – advantageous.
- Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a front office/reception role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star boutique hotel or lodge.
- Experience with hotel reservations systems (NightsBridge, Opera, Protel, or similar).
- Familiarity with online booking platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb).
- Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email etiquette.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Well-groomed, professional, and friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of Simonstown and surrounding tourist attractions – an advantage.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
