About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Site Manager to join our client in Midrand, Gauteng. As a Junior Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the coordination and management of construction projects, ensuring smooth operations and successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor quality control and adherence to safety protocols on site.
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during construction.
- Keep detailed records of project progress and report updates to senior management.
Requirements
- English as a first language
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in shop fitting and/or construction highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing circumstances
- Sober habits and medically fit for site work
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel as necessary and work flexible hours to meet project deadlines
- Time-conscious and able to prioritise tasks effectively
