An exclusive 5-star lodge in the heart of the Welgevonden Game Reserve is seeking an experienced and passionate General Management Couple to take the helm of our award-winning property. This is a rare opportunity to live and work in one of South Africa’s most breathtaking reserves while leading a world-class hospitality team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the lodge, ensuring seamless guest experiences
• Lead and mentor a dynamic team, driving service excellence at every level
• Manage front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest relations
• Oversee financial management, stock control, and supplier relations
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Maintain and elevate the lodge’s reputation for luxury, authenticity, and personalized service

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing a luxury 5-star lodge or boutique property
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for guest service and the African bush
• Business acumen with hands-on operational expertise
• A couple with complementary hospitality skills (F&B, guest relations, finance, admin, guiding, etc.)
