About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Draughtsman to join a well-established sheet metal manufacturing business based in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate drawings, assisting with project execution, and ensuring designs are converted into production-ready files. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong CAD skills and knowledge of sheet metal processes. Key Responsibilities: Interpret client drawings and specifications accurately. Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for sheet metal manufacturing. Convert drawings into CAD packages and prepare cutting files for production. Assist with internal audits and maintain compliance with company standards. Collaborate with project teams on design requirements and quality checks. Follow-up on completed drawings and ensure accuracy of final products. Compile data packages and maintain technical documentation. Use measuring tools to verify components and identify materials. Support management with ad hoc tasks as required. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Draughting or Mechanical/Design field. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes (laser cutting, bending, forming, machining). Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
