My client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Buyer to join their Procurement team in Port Elizabeth. This is an open EE position , and remuneration will be based on experience. Education: National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years experience in technical procurement or a similar role. Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications. Solid organisational and analytical abilities. Knowledge of SAP (advantageous). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Job Experience & Skills Required: Source and purchase technical equipment, materials, and services in line with project specifications. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to evaluate technical requirements. Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure favourable terms.
