Hire Resolve is currently working with a mining company based in the Northern Cape and is in need of a highly experienced and qualified HOD Operations Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all operations within the mining site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the mining operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and provide leadership to a team of supervisors and operational staff.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.

Requirements:

• BTech / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• GCC Mines and Works
• At least 10 years of experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to the Northern Cape.
