Requirements:

• A qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
• Proven experience in sales estimation or a related field.
• Knowledge or experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and related documents to define the scope of work.
• Collaborate with engineers to conduct feasibility studies, develop models, and specify hardware and equipment.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and other project expenses.
• Draft detailed proposals and quotes for clients.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide accurate pricing.
• Maintain and update a database of cost data and pricing information.
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved estimates.
• Support sales meetings and presentations when required.
• Identify and implement improvements to the estimation process to reduce costs.
