An established company is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations at their Durbanville facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, hands-on leader with a strong technical background and team management experience.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage, mentor, and lead the maintenance team to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
• Monitor and maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance across all maintenance operations.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including cost tracking and reporting.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Ensure all maintenance records, logs, and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
• Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reliability of plant operations.

Requirements:

• Red Seal trade qualification (mandatory).
• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or hospitality facilities.
• Strong leadership, team management, and people development skills.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a maintenance environment.
