Wine Lounge Runner

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Wine Lounge Runner to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. This role is responsible for supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring that the Wine Lounge is impeccably presented and prepared for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the kitchen and front-of-house areas

• Clear tables of glasses, plates and other items

• Serve platters from the kitchen to tables

• Assist the wine lounge cook with plating, polishing glasses and washing dishes

• Collect and manage water bottles

• Ensure bins are emptied before and after service

• Keep kitchen fridges stocked and organised

• Set up tables outside each morning

• Polish spittoons and maintain presentation items

• Ensure all displays are fresh, clean and visually appealing

• Deliver excellent guest service and contribute to a memorable experience

• Be knowledgeable about the estates products and offerings

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a get it done attitude

Requirements:

• Own or reliable transport

• Preferably 12 years previous experience in a similar role

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong customer service orientation

• Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele

• Well-presented, enthusiastic and flexible

• Willingness to work flexible hours

Package:
