• Matric
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• PLC Experience and Programming/ General computer knowledge will be considered as training on the machine will be provided
• Technical Capabilities
• Experience with working in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt quickly
• Own Reliable transport

 
DUTIES

• Operate machinery by engaging controls such as levers, buttons, and switches to start or stop operations
• Assess paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections and by using instruments like viscometers
• Connect hoses and nozzles using appropriate tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers), and adjust settings to ensure proper spray dispersion
• Regulate conveyor speed, machine temperature, air pressure, circulation, and paint flow by adjusting dials, valves, and switches
• Monitor gauges and equipment performance to identify defects or irregularities, making real-time adjustments as needed
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste safely and in accordance with regulations
• Position spray guns accurately to ensure correct application on surfaces
• Apply primers and finish coatings to prepared surfaces with specified amounts and techniques
• Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections such as blisters or streaks and take corrective action as required
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble spray equipment using appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and methods

 
Salary: Dependent on experience plus Provident Fund and Life Cover
