Responsibilities include securing premises and personnel by patrolling properties, inspecting buildings, and overseeing the monitoring of surveillance equipment and access points to ensure health, safety, and security for all.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> Ensure quality of security, incident, and risk investigations</p><p> Deliver efficient service to promote guest satisfaction</p><p> Supervise Security operations and security teams</p><p> Ensure employees receive ongoing emergency training (drills) in safety and evacuations</p><p> Implement processes, policies, procedures, and standards regulating security team activities</p><p> Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventative initiatives</p><p> Reduce incidents involving loss or damage of guest, company, or third-party property</p><p> Maintain strict confidentiality of all guests, visitors, employees, and company information</p><p> Demonstrate personal and professional integrity of the highest standard</p><p> Reduce safety-related (IOD) and security incidents</p><p> Promote and maintain compliance and awareness of health, safety, and security issues</p><p> Identify areas where waste can be reduced for financial savings</p><p> Minimize hazards and risks</p><p> </p><p><strong>Experience and Skills:</strong></p><p> Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in security or similar working environment</p><p> PSIRA registered</p><p> Valid drivers license</p><p> Firearm competency advantageous</p><p><strong>Inherent Requirements:</strong></p><p> Matric</p><p> Completion of formal education in security beneficial</p><p> Strong communication skills</p><p> Critical thinking ability and situational awareness for appropriate response</p><p> Working knowledge of management practices and principles</p><p> Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment</p><p> Teamwork, cross-organizational collaboration, and building high-performance teams</p>
