About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Global Mobility and Tax Compliance Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing global tax filing deadlines, advising clients on international mobility and compliance strategies, and ensuring seamless alignment with global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control the global tax compliance calendar, ensuring that all filing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions are clearly communicated and adhered to by the team.
  • Monitor all tax return deadlines, provide timely reminders to the team, and ensure all necessary actions are taken to meet filing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the global tax team to ensure all filing processes are completed on time.
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to keep everyone informed of approaching deadlines and any changes to schedules.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure they provide all required documentation in advance of filing deadlines.
  • Address any client concerns related to compliance timelines.
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding upcoming deadlines, completed filings, and any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance, project coordination, or deadline management, preferably in a multinational or consulting environment.
  • Understanding of international tax compliance processes and deadlines.
  • Experience working in global tax or compliance functions.
