Employer Description Industrial Equipment Supplier Job Description Handling complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counselling in conjunction with all stakeholders. Manage grievances and grievance procedures timeously and ensure management is updated. Work with the HR and departmental Managers concerning disciplinary action required, including preparation of documents, investigation of any offence, scheduling hearings, and attendance at hearings. Advice on workmans compensation claims, compilation and submission of documentation Managing relationships with unions & ensuring that the Companys treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives Assist with the process of Exit interview Ensure continuous revision, internal training and updates are provided on various IR and ER and recent case law and that this is conducted regularly across all levels of staff and where necessary coordinate external training on relevant matters Assist in the organization and induction of new staff on the code of conduct, HR and IR protocols and operating procedures during orientation Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues promptly and effectively. Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement Continually analyse and develop operating procedures as it relates to IR Manage operational performance of the Employee Relations services within the HR Department. Qualifications National Certificate Grade 12/ NQF Level 4 Degree or National diploma relevant to HR, IR South African Labour Legislation NQF Level 6 or 7. (Advantageous) Skills Minimum five (5) years experience. An understanding of and insight into the BCEA, LRA, OHS, EE, SDL and POPI acts and Main Agreements. Knowledge of regulations and compliance as it relates to Human resources and South African law Advanced Computer Literacy
