Springs: Parts Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Vehicle Parts Manager with experience in Chinese automotive brands and multi-franchise operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in business development and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the parts department. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and storage for brands such as Haval and Chery. Assist customers and service staff in sourcing correct parts and handling special orders. Monitor sales, profitability, and expenses, implementing strategies to boost parts sales. Compile a business action plan and contribute to marketing initiatives to grow the business. Supervise, train, and evaluate parts staff to ensure optimal performance and compliance. Maintain accurate records, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to manufacturer and company standards. Stay informed on product lines, industry trends, and technical developments. Requirements: Proven experience with Chinese automotive brands (Haval, Chery preferred) and multi-franchise operations. Strong automotive background with in-depth knowledge of parts and inventory management. Results-driven, proactive, and a go-getter with the ability to contribute to business development. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills. Remuneration: R25,000 – R35,000 basic salary, plus commission and performance bonus.
