Springs: Automotive Financial Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of the full finance function across their multi-brand dealerships, covering new and used vehicles, service, parts, workshop, and property entities. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership, technical finance expertise, and deep dealership experience. Role Purpose The Financial Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate, bank-ready management accounts, reconciliations, cash flow, and covenant reporting. They will ensure compliance across VAT, SARS, and statutory requirements, maintain discipline in Keyloop Autoline , and lead a small high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities Deliver monthly management accounts (P&L by department, Balance Sheet, cash flow, KPIs, variance analysis) within T7. Maintain full Trial Balance integrity, ensuring all subledgers are reconciled (Debtors, Creditors, VSB, Parts, WIP, VAT, payroll, bank, intercompany). Manage floorplan facilities, daily cash positioning, and banking relationships. Ensure VAT accuracy, SARS compliance, and support annual audit/reviews. Provide commercial finance insights (margins, stock turns, discounts, OEM incentives). Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team; drive Autoline discipline and process improvements. Requirements BCom Accounting/Finance degree (Honours/CIMA/CA(SA) advantageous). 58 years finance experience in multi-branch dealerships with strong knowledge of floorplan and stock finance . Proven expertise in Keyloop Autoline (VSB, Parts, SL, PL, GL, RPG) . Track record delivering accurate month-end packs to tight deadlines. Experience with Haval, GWM, Chery, Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and used car sales preferred. Strong leadership, coaching ability, and systems discipline. Core Competencies Ownership, accuracy, and delivery under pressure. Systems thinker with clear process discipline. Effective communicator with banks, OEMs, and non-financial stakeholders. Remuneration Between R40,000 and R50,000 plus performance bonus.
