Groblersdal: Erecting Machine Technician posted by Fempower Personnel

Our client, a leader in the corrugated packaging industry, is seeking an experienced Erecting Machine Technician to join their team. This is a key technical role requiring a qualified and proactive individual to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of erecting machinery. This role will be based in Groblersdal and will be a permanent requirement.

The Key Responsibilities:

• Attend pack house visits and respond to technical call-outs.
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on erecting machinery.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide professional technical support and represent the client company in all duties.

Minimum Requirements & Experience

• Matric certificate (Grade 12).
• Trade test certificate required Millwright qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years relevant technical experience.
• Exposure to different erecting machines will be advantageous.
• Strong background in PLCs, diagnostics, and fault-finding.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as operational needs arise.
• Valid Code 08 drivers license.
