Midrand: RF Antenna Design Engineer

Job & Company Description: Looking for an outside-the-box thinking professional to join a diversified team of go getters on as a RF Antenna Design Engineer. The successful candidate to fill this role will compile reports, research, design, and develop Antennas, and be a part of the development of tools for obtaining, processing, and simulation results. This person will be the liaison between the Lead RF Engineer and the rest of the research and development team. Key responsibilities include: Research and Development Antenna and technology research, design & development Keeping abreast of antenna (and RF) engineering best practices and latest techniques. Improvement of current tools for processing simulation and measurement results. Product Management Defining the long-term vision and strategy for the companys products and managing the lifecycle of the various products according to best product management principles. Create and analyse product business cases (financial & strategic). Research, analysis, and internal guidance of current and emerging technologies that may impact the companys product strategy. Prototype Management Involvement in the management of prototype construction. Measurement and recording of simulation results. Processing of measurement and simulation results to allow for more rapid decision-making from management. Administration and Reporting General correspondence and administration completed accurately and timeously. Professional image maintained in all communication. Education and skills: A related Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering 610 years experience in a similar role MIMO, beamforming, EMC/EMI, broadband/multiband designs Design management experience. Product management experience. High degree of computer literacy. Great verbal and writing skills in English. Candidate must be assertive and self-driven. Apply now!
