A leading industrial connectivity and automation solutions provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its footprint across the SADC region. This role requires a self-driven professional with a proven ability to open new markets, travel extensively, and build strong relationships with distributors, integrators, and end-users.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development within industrial, automation, or connectivity solutions
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the SADC region
• Valid passport and driver’s license
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate at senior level

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the SADC region
• Build, develop, and manage strong distributor and client relationships
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and solution-based sales engagements
• Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to management
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s regional growth strategy
• Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events
