Education:

• Qualified CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in a senior financial management role
• At least 3 to 4 years at an executive or Board reporting level
• Background in subsidiary reporting or experience within a listed group environment
• Strong management experience with oversight across multiple business functions
• Technical knowledge of hedging, IFRS, tax, and compliance frameworks
• Hyperion / HFM exposure highly advantageous
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

This position offers the chance to work closely with executive leadership and the board, driving financial excellence and business strategy in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
 
Duties:

• Provide strategic financial leadership as part of the executive team.
• Oversee subsidiary reporting and consolidation in line with listed entity standards.
• Manage financial governance, risk, and compliance across the business.
• Lead hedging and treasury initiatives to mitigate risks and optimise performance.
• Drive efficiencies through IT systems, automation, and process improvements.
• Partner with procurement and operations to deliver commercial value.
• Present insights and recommendations at board level to support growth strategies.

 
Education and experience:

• CA(SA) qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Financial Director/Executive/Board-level role.
• Proven track record in subsidiary reporting within a listed environment.
• Strong exposure to hedging, IT systems, and procurement.
