Company and Job Description:  

This is a pivotal role for a qualified Chartered Accountant who thrives in complex, multi-country environments and has a proven track record working across all construction disciplines. The role will be based in South Africa, with travel to neighboring regions. 
 
Key Responsibilities:  

• Lead and manage financial operations across Southern Africa 

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions 

• Oversee project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting 

• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and risk management 

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring processes 

• Mentor and develop finance teams within the region 

 
Job Experience and Skills Required: 

• Chartered Accountant – CA(SA) qualification (essential)

• 5–10 years’ post-articles experience in finance.

• Previous experience in the construction or engineering sector is required

• Strong exposure to cross-border operations in other African countries

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across Southern Africa
