Sandton: Intermediate Phase Teacher

A qualified and experienced Intermediate Phase Teacher is required to teach Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences. The role requires a proven track record of teaching excellence, experience with the CAPS or IEB curriculum, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) or equivalent SACE certification Minimum 5 years classroom experience teaching Grades 4-6 Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences Computer literacy, including MS Office and virtual classroom platforms Key Performance Areas: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with CAPS/IEB curriculum Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives Manage classroom behaviour positively to support learning Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress Participate in school events, committees, and staff development initiatives Contribute to a culture of excellence, respect, and student growth
