One of our clients in Logistics industry is looking to hire An Intermediate to Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) that can management, maintenance, and optimization of SQL Server databases within an organization. This position requires advanced expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
BSC Computer Science or similar qualification advantageous
Proven experience of SQL code creation
Proven process analysis experience
Proven systems understanding and test experience

Database Administration and Maintenance
Performance Tuning and Optimization
High Availability and Disaster Recovery
Collaboration and Support
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
Mentorship and Guidance
Strategic Planning
 
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of BI development
Technical experience through the design / specification /development of IT solutions (SQL / BI)
Familiarity with integrations protocols
Experience in any aspect of delivery of integrations to
external as well as internal solutions
Experience in business operations and understanding of its processes

Product experience
– Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2019, 2022: 5-10 years
– Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services: 3-5 years
– Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services: 3-5 years
– Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular) –Beneficial.
– Microsoft Power BI (on-premises and premium). – Beneficial
