An opportunity is available for a Software Control Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team focused on flight control software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in control systems and experience with simulation tools. This role involves contributing to the development of flight control algorithms and participating in peer-reviewed engineering processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop control software for flight applications
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for modelling, simulation, and code generation (non-negotiable)
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the development and integration of control systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering practices
• Advantageous: experience in UAV flight control software development

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in control software development
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink (non-negotiable)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Advantageous: prior experience in UAV control system development
