Killarney Gardens, Cape Town | Workshop & Site SupportVALCO Group South Africa is hiring a Skilled Valve Technician to join our growing team.Have hands-on valve repair and test experience, we’d like to hear from you.About the RoleWe’re searching for a technician with demonstrable experience in the repair, overhaul, and testing of the following types ofvalves: Manual Valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, etc.) Safety Valves (PSVs; Conventional & Pilot Operated) Control Valves (Globe, Cage-guided, etc.)Responsibilities Strip, inspect, overhaul, and test valves as per OEM standards and procedures Carry out in-situ valve repairs and in-situ lapping equipment usage Carry out on-site PSV testing Work in the workshop and on client sites Maintain accurate QA/QC records and test documentation Ensure all activities comply with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) regulations and companyproceduresQualifications/Experience At least 3 years hands-on experience with industrial valves On-site and workshop valve servicing experience Proficient in the use of portable test and lapping equipment Familiarity with inspection/test standards and valve drawings Current driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office applications.
