Company and Job Description:

Join a well-established beverages manufacturer in Lubumbashi, DRC, known for its commitment to quality and innovation in carbonated soft drink production. As Head Engineer, you will lead the technical operations across water and CSD lines, including utilities and process systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bottled water and CSD production including RO, filtration, ozonation, UV, blowing, filling, labelling, packaging, and conveyors.
• Oversee utilities such as chillers, compressors, generators, boilers, cooling towers, and CO plants.
• Lead design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment and systems.
• Supervise laboratory testing, equipment calibration, and personnel training.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in CSD production.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to commit to a 3-year contract.
• Valid passport (minimum 2 years), good health certificate, and required vaccinations.
• African experience is an advantage.
