Requirements & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Edgecam software with Advanced Milling and Essential Turning modules.
• Strong background in CNC Milling and Turning, with a bias toward Milling experience.
• Qualified in Turning, Machining, or a similar trade (relevant trade certificate required).
• 5–10 years of proven working experience in CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to write CNC programs from scratch and modify existing programs.
• Capable of setting up and operating both CNC Milling Machines and CNC Lathes.
• Excellent knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC Milling and Turning machines using Edgecam software (Advanced Milling & Essential Turning Modules).
• Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure parts are produced to specification.
• Set up and operate CNC Milling machines (primary) and CNC Lathes (secondary).
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform first-off inspections and verify that components meet required tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming, setup, and machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine condition to support consistent production quality.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Comply with safety and quality standards within the workshop environment.
