We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in detonation systems to join our innovative team in the mining sector. This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of explosive delivery and initiation systems used in mining operations, ensuring performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for detonation and blasting applications.
• Collaborate with R&D and field engineers to test and validate new systems.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with mining, safety, and explosive handling regulations.
• Support the maintenance and optimization of current detonation technologies.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, technical reports, and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field); Master’s preferred.
• Experience in explosive systems, detonation systems, or mining-related mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of explosive materials, safety regulations, and mining operations.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of materials science, fluid dynamics, and structural integrity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-risk environments.
