Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Field Guide to join a luxury private game reserve in the Western Cape. This role requires a dedicated professional who is enthusiastic about the natural environment and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead guided game drives and bush walks, providing guests with informative and engaging experiences.

• Share in-depth knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation with guests.

• Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences.

• Assist with maintenance of reserve infrastructure, vehicles, and lodge equipment.

• Contribute to general upkeep and problem solving in both lodge and reserve environments.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and reserve protocols.

• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service and operational standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Field Guide in a high-end lodge or reserve.

• FGASA qualifications and necessary guiding certifications (valid PDP, First Aid, etc.).

• Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about guest service and conservation.

• Strong practical skills in maintenance, vehicles, and reserve infrastructure.

• Reliable, trustworthy, and an excellent team player.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
