Cape Town City Centre: E-Commerce Lead

The E-Commerce Lead will own the end-to-end strategy, performance, and operational excellence of the company’s online retail channels. You will be responsible for driving digital revenue growth, improving customer experience, and ensuring a seamless integration between online and in-store journeys. This role requires a digital leader with both creative and analytical strength – someone who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution to deliver measurable results and elevate the brand’s online presence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the E-Commerce strategy in alignment with the overall business goals Drive online sales growth, traffic acquisition, and conversion through data-driven insights Oversee website functionality, UX/UI, and merchandising to ensure an intuitive, engaging customer journey Lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, IT, Buying, Planning, and Supply Chain teams Manage digital operations, including product uploads, inventory, fulfilment, payments, and returns Analyse key metrics, customer behaviour, and conversion data to optimise performance Partner with Digital Marketing teams to implement SEO, SEM, social, and email campaigns Develop and manage the E-Commerce budget, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency across platforms and campaigns Lead online promotional campaigns, exclusive sales, and performance-driven initiatives Build relationships with service providers, agencies, and group shared-service partners to align technology, logistics, and customer experience
