Johannesburg North: Junior Fund Accountant (SAIPA) posted by Network Finance

Our client is a leading Pan-African private equity and mezzanine finance firm, known for providing innovative funding solutions to mid-sized and high-growth businesses across the continent. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements for funds and related entities.
• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the team with VAT and income tax calculations and returns.
• Provide input on improvements to financial reporting processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Completion of SAIPA Articles is essential.
• Professional accountant registration (SAIPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
