Front of House Manager Stellenbosch

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and professional Front of House Manager to join a prestigious luxury wine estate based in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all front-facing operations, delivering an exceptional guest experience in a refined setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate front-of-house teams to maintain the highest standards of service.

• Customer Experience: Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.

• Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day management of all public areas, including reservations, ticket sales, and concessions.

• Coordination: Work closely with other departments, such as the kitchen and events teams, to ensure seamless operations.

• Problem-Solving: Act as a professional liaison to resolve guest issues, manage complaints, and handle any unforeseen situations with discretion and efficiency.

• Financials & Administration: Manage administrative duties, oversee budgets and financial aspects related to front-of-house operations, and ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality or wine estate environment

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service excellence

• Exceptional organisational and communication abilities

• Professional demeanour, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Proficiency in administrative and financial management tasks

Package:

• Salary: R25,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience
