Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome and check-in/check-out guests according to hotel procedures. Maintain and update guest lists, ensuring smooth communication with all departments. Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with the relevant teams. Liaise closely with Housekeeping to ensure efficient check-outs. Be fully familiar with the hotels Rates Policy, Front Office procedures, and emergency protocols. Accurately post all charges to guest folios and adhere to credit control procedures. Ensure all guest ledger correspondence and dockets are properly filed before submission to Accounts. Balance float, cash, and credit takings at the end of each shift; complete cashier reports accurately. Assist guests promptly with inquiries or requests. Schedule and execute wake-up calls accurately. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues. Qualifications & Experience Matric (Grade 12) minimum. Previous experience in a reception or front office role within a hospitality environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and a friendly, guest-focused attitude.
