Job Title: Radio Controller Location: G4S – Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Port Elizabeth Job Type: Permanent, full-time position Primary Industry: Other Job Duties: Monitor and control radio communications within the designated area Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure efficient delivery schedules Respond to emergency calls and provide necessary assistance Maintain accurate records of all communications and activities Report any issues or incidents to the appropriate authorities Required Qualifications: Excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail Basic knowledge of radio communication systems Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of radio operations and protocols Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively Proficient in using communication equipment Preferred Qualifications: Certification in radio communication systems Experience in logistics or transportation industry Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment Shift work may be required Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergencies
