Key Responsibilities Assist with electrical costing for projects. Develop control concepts and select appropriate hardware for automation systems based on RFQs and engineering principles. Prepare detailed electrical designs (PowerPoint/Visio) for customer review and approval. Compile manufacturing and site installation plans for electrical projects. Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment. Generate and maintain all required documentation and reports . Ensure site safety compliance during commissioning activities. Supervise and support the electrical project manufacturing and installation team . Provide standby and callout support as required. Plan and execute electrical projects from start to finish. Skills & Qualifications Minimum National Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics . 5 years experience in automation (essential). E-Plan knowledge (advantageous). Strong knowledge of electronic systems and troubleshooting . Solid understanding of electrical processes with working knowledge of South African standards (SANS 10142) and international standards. Project management experience . Focus on quality , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level). Experience in electronics testing and design . Excellent presentation and communication skills . Team player with strong collaboration skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships , particularly related to service activities.
