Nelspruit: EC&I Engineer

The EC&I Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems across a range of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: Design and specification of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, data sheets, and cable schedules Support project execution from design through commissioning Conduct site surveys and inspections as needed Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Mechanical and Process Engineers Ensure that all systems comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards Requirements: Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering (or equivalent) Proven experience in ECI engineering Strong knowledge of control systems (PLC/DCS), SCADA, and instrumentation Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, BS, and ATEX) Ability to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control philosophy documents Excellent communication and teamwork skills
