Kendrick Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and professional Casual Waiters to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. This role requires individuals with patience, personality and perseverance, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet guests and present menus and wine lists

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods

• Ensure tables are properly set with linens, silverware and glasses

• Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using the Point-of-Sale system

• Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service

• Clear tables promptly and maintain a clean dining environment

• Offer dessert, coffee and additional services where appropriate

• Prepare and present bills accurately

• Uphold high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform presentation

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all restaurant areas

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification

• Preferably 1 years experience as a waiter/waitress

• Experience with cash registers and ordering systems an advantage

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills

• Attentive, patient and confident when engaging with distinguished clientele

• Well-presented, enthusiastic and adaptable

• Flexibility, accountability and a positive attitude

• Own or reliable transport
