Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a friendly and efficient Ice-Cream Vendor to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience at the ice-cream station.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up the ice-cream station each morning

• Prepare and serve ice-cream desserts to guests

• Assist guests with their orders and provide recommendations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stand, including sanitising the work area

• Take inventory and place orders to ensure adequate stock of supplies

• Store all ingredients appropriately in the relevant kitchens

• Operate the card machine and process payments accurately

• Report daily transactions to the manager for processing into the POS

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification

• Preferably 12 years experience in hospitality

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service focus

• Basic maths skills and attention to detail

• Self-disciplined, productive and efficient

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism

• Flexible and accountable
