Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum

About the Role:
As a Panel Beater, you’ll work on a variety of vehicles including rapid, conventional, prestige, fleet, electric/hybrid, and semi/heavy motor vehicles. You’ll be responsible for the full vehicle repair process—from disassembly to reassembly—following safety procedures and quality assurance standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble, assess, repair, prep, prime, and reassemble vehicles per job sheet
Ensure all parts are correct and undamaged before installation
Follow repair methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Use TIG welding for precision panel work
Comply with all safety and PPE guidelines
Accurately clock on/off and track tasks
Maintain tools and workspace in a clean, safe condition
Coach apprentices if assigned
Collaborate closely with estimators, parts managers, and supervisors
Uphold quality assurance and sign off completed work
 
Ideal Candidate:
Trade-qualified Panel Beater
Physically fit and able to meet demanding timelines
Skilled in TIG welding
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Team-oriented, reliable, punctual, and hardworking
