Job Description
Our client, a major player in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking an analytical and detail-driven Export Analyst to join their logistics division. This role is key to ensuring the seamless export of fully built-up vehicles (FBU) from the production plant to international destinations, supporting efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute all modes of transport (air, sea, and road) to ensure smooth vehicle export flow and on-time delivery.

Liaise with service providers, port authorities, and government agencies to meet export schedules and maintain compliance.

Manage and verify export documentation in line with free trade agreements and destination-specific regulations.

Align production output with vessel schedules and port stack plans to optimize logistics efficiency.

Verify and approve freight, transport, and customs invoices based on agreed-upon rate structures.

Maintain and update master data and shipping information systems.

Prepare and submit damage reports, manage claims with service providers and insurers.

Track and analyse export performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Provide accurate and timely reports to management to support decision-making and KPI tracking.
About You
Essential qualifications & experience:

National Diploma in Commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.

Minimum 35 years experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Strong understanding of multimodal transport logistics and Incoterms.

Exposure to the automotive sector is highly advantageous.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong financial accuracy in invoice verification and foreign currency calculations.

Proficient in reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented.
